Wassmer). I was working in Mainz, Germany with
the Chemistry
Education Network as a scientific
writer, multimedia developer and web designer. After this government funded project was terminated, I went to study again (in Mannheim, Germany) to become a high school science teacher at the Steiner / Waldorf - Schools. After concluding my studies I moved to Ann Arbor, MI, USA where I taught biology, earth science and chemistry at the Rudolf Steiner High School of Ann Arbor. Since Fall 2010, I am assistant professor of biology at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan..
I earned my Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Konstanz working
on the hibernation of European hamsters and my M.Sc. from the University
of Freiburg studying dung beetle ecology. For more information on my
